How Does it Work?
The researchers at Stanford University reveal that these panels produce electricity with the help of radiative cooling. This can happen due to the difference in temperature at night time. When heat moves away from the surface, the Earth releases its energy toward space, which makes a difference in the temperature, which helps these panels convert this energy into electricity.
Moonlight Panels Working
The researchers reveal that they attach thermoelectric generators to the panels making them cooler in the surrounding air and allowing them to capture the heat when it is released naturally, which helps these panels to produce electricity, about 50 milliwatts per square meter at night.

Comparison With Traditional Panels
The amount of 50 milliwatts per square meter is much less than the traditional ones which produce about 200 milliwatts per square meter. But it is still helpful in running devices like LEDs, IOT devices, and other lower power-consuming devices. However the head of the research panel, Shanhui Fan said, it could be improved with the help of further research, advancement, and experiment.

Energy for All
An estimated 770 million people live without electricity. Providing this facility to all these people required significant effort, time, and other resources. But this invention helped a lot to meet this need and helped the world achieve this milestone. It also minimizes the role of batteries to run electrical devices at night time.
Conclusion
Bringing night panels and making them more effective and achieving sustainable energy to meet energy needs requires a significant amount of effort time, and other resources. It has the potential to meet the energy needs of the world. Night solar brings sustainable energy but requires a lot of effort, but the development that has been made shows great performance. Expensive technology and more research are required on materials and other technological devices to bring more energy. It is also the fact that this technology is very costly but working on this will bring more fruits in the future.
