As the winter season started in the country solar batteries prices have sharply decline after a record-breaking decrease in the prices of solar panels across the country.
Reports suggest that the prices of solar batteries have dropped by 20% due to the policies of the government with the expectation of further decreases in the prices in upcoming months.
The prices of Lithium batteries have fallen from 400,000 to 380,000 and tubular batteries have fallen from 70,000 to 55,000 respectively.
Due to the smoggy winter season, solar panel sales have decreased. Due to this tough weather condition, some brands have also dropped the prices of solar inverters from 4% to 5% as well.
The prices of solar panels are also decreasing due to low sales, now the per-watt price of solar panels in the country is 28 pkr. Pakistan imported 8,000 megawatts of solar panels in one year, as revealed by the Federal Minister.
